For those of you that read my last blog post you probably saw the link that took you to my previous blog that I had originally intended to use for this little blog project. And as far as you can see, failed miserably. You can also see that the last post was from 2018, and it is now December of 2021. It’s been three years, and a lot has happened during that time. This blog post is here to close some of those gaps and answer some of those questions. If you have any other questions please feel free to comment or contact me!!
First off, if you click the link in my previous post it takes you to the front page of my last blog website and you’ll notice an unfamiliar face. That would be my ex-fiancé. We had dated for about a year, and got an engaged. We had been engaged for about 7 months until breaking up in the spring of 2019. I don’t want to get into the dirty little details, but I am better because of it and I am pretty sure he is too. It definitely was a difficult time in my life, but I learned a lot about who I am, what I want out of life, and what I am looking for in a future partner. And I think I found someone who definitely fits what I am looking for and fits me as a person way better.
There have been a lot of other things that have happened since 2018 as well. But one of the biggest topics that hovered over my life was my health. I like to say that I am really healthy and to most people I look pretty healthy. But what people don’t see is that I have a really bad hip, which I have had two procedures on, about to have a third. And just recently have been diagnosed with vestibular migraines. I want to keep this short and sweet, so I will dive into each of those sometime soon. But those have definitely made my life very interesting to say the least. I have learned a lot dealing with these things and trying to overcome them, but it definitely has not been easy.
To end on a good note, I have also travelled a decent amount in the last few years. I have had a few amazing weekend trips to Las Vegas. I got to experience a lot on those two trips, and I even got to experience a glimpse of the Grand Canyon. I even explored more of Traverse City and the Peninsula’s up north. I explored more of the Midwest thank you to the traveling of coaching. This year we even made a fun trip out to Florida and hit up almost every theme park including Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios, Blizzard Beach, Volcano Bay, and Seaworld! That was a ton of fun too! I’m excited to continue traveling and can’t wait for my next adventure!
When people said that you experience a lot in your twenties, I didn’t exactly know what they meant. But now I do, and I’m excited to continue sharing my experiences both good and bad with you all. So please continue to follow my journey, I promise you won’t regret it!
